Who are the therapists for the Virtual Art Therapy Clinic? Do they have training and experience?

The student art therapists for the Virtual Art Therapy Clinic are all in the final stage of their post-graduate Art Psychotherapy Diploma program at CiiAT – The Canadian International Institute of Art Therapy.

They must have either a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree to enter the Art Psychotherapy Diploma program. As part of their art psychotherapy education, students must successfully complete a clinical placement where they are under the direct supervision of the site and a qualified clinical supervisor.

Although CiiAT’s head offices are in Canada, the post-graduate student art therapists working in the Virtual Art Therapy Clinic are from all over the world and have the ability to speak different languages.
